Dreamalot Books Trade Policy
Thirty percent of cover price is credited for adult paperbacks with a $.05 per dollar with $1 minimum service fee. We do not trade genre for genre. Bring in what you have and get what you want. Hardbacks and trade-size paperbacks are traded two for one with $.10/book service fee. All books in the store that are priced $5.00 and under are tradable. Hardback credit may be used for paperbacks and vice versa. Comic Books, VHS/DVD movies, audio books, and music CDs trade 2 for 1 with a minimum service fee of $1.00. Children's and young adult books are traded two for one with no service fees. If you use your store credit without bringing in books for trade there is a $1 set service fee. (A contribution to keeping the lights on.) Adult paperback and youth credits are not exchangeable. Videos are also separated between children's cartoons and full-length films. Book credit may be taken for music CDs and videos as well. All items for exchange need to be in good condition. We do not accept clipped corner books or books with loose covers or missing pages. For audio/visual items, cases need to be included. No bootlegs or home-taped movies accepted. Dreamalot Books reserves the right to deny any item for credit for any reason.
